PLOT:

               The story is about the girl named Ganga who lost her virginity during her school days. It was an accident but that one thing changed her whole life. Years passed, Ganga was now an working woman staying with her mother.  Due to many strange happenings she decided to meet the man who is responsible for the virgin loss. That guy was married and he is having an family with a daughter who is going to college.

                               WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO GANGA LIFE NOW?

REVIEW:

               The story was written in the year 1970. It is really very fascinating how the author came up the thought of writing this novel. In this story, Ganga belongs to Brahman family, where for the sake of society she lost all her happiness. For the sake of tradition, she lost everything.

               She literally decide to close all the doors after that incident. She is the woman who cant able to get over the past. But, after she met the man she thought she is finding the purpose. 

                The author narrates the thought of the woman and the society very well. Epilogue is the best part. That reveals the pain of Ganga's life.
